About Sara
Sara is a mother, grandmother, software engineer, teacher, amateur architect, and author. After graduating from UCSB, she worked in the Defense and Finance industries, where she helped develop an early version of the touch screen ATM. Later, she taught computer network certification courses to engineers, and math to LA County high school students.
As an avid learner, she practiced Wuju Qi Gong, attended Law School, got a second Master's degree, and is working on her PhD. She also designed and managed several construction projects, and somehow still found time to participate in her daughters many and varied extracurricular activities. She also writes on occasion, usually spontaneously and in place of previously scheduled activities, like grad school classes, work and sleep.
